The graceful lines of this artwork were created by one of Zimbabwe's Shona sculptors, using chisels in order to release the spirit that the sculptors believe is trapped in the serpentine stone. This sculpture evokes the tranquility and introspectiveness of a musician creating music with his traditional instrument, the Mbira.
